One of things I remember from my childhood, before I’d even started picking up a camera as a hobby, was something my Dad said after a family holiday; “You know you take a pretty good photos, you leave a decent amount of headroom which not a lot of people do.”

That quote has stuck with me for a long while, and once I was out of University and wondering what my next step in life was, those words came crashing back to me, I bought my first camera, ditched the cosplay only to jump behind the camera and photograph all the amazing cosplayers I admired.

Since my humble beginning I’ve not only photographed cosplayers but pirates, ladies of the lake, mermaids above and below water, a surprise engagement, and even a couple of weddings! Photography means the world to me; it’s not just pressing a button and moving a few sliders in a software program. It’s about bringing the fantastical to life, and creating a new perspective whilst also going on adventures to stunning locations to photograph the amazing people I meet and capture their stories along the way.
